Opal - Female

Opal is a grey tabby with beautiful, almost tan-colored streaks throughout her coat and the sweetest yellow, owl-like eyes. Opal was rescued from the streets alongside her siblings and, like many kittens who have had a difficult start, she needed some time to feel safe. She is a very shy and cautious girl, but she has been making progress and slowly learning that she is surrounded by people who want to help her. Opal loves spending time with her feline friends and is beginning to enjoy toy playtime and cozy moments with the other cats. While she will allow us to pet her, she is still much more hesitant around people and may run or hide when she feels nervous. Opal is going to need a special person who understands that trust cannot be rushed. She may not be the kitten who immediately runs up to greet you, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, we believe she will continue to come out of her shell. She has already come so far, and we can't wait to see the confident little cat hiding underneath that shy exterior.
