Trap-Neuter-Release
Trap‑Neuter‑Release (TNR) is a humane, evidence‑based method for managing outdoor and feral cat populations. The concept is simple: stop the cycle of reproduction while allowing healthy cats to live out their lives safely.
🐾 What TNR Involves

Trap – Humanely capture free‑roaming cats using safe, baited traps.

Neuter/Spay – Take the cats to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered. They also typically receive:

FVRCP vaccination

Flea, tick and deworming as needed

Ear‑tip (a small, painless removal of the tip of one ear to mark them as sterilized)

Release – Return the cats to the exact location where they were trapped, where they are familiar with food sources and territory.

OR if friendly, they are made available for adoption.
